Self Intervention Proposal – Amanda Smith

For the next week, I want to run at least one mile every day. I was inspired by a YouTube video made by a young woman who did this for a month to see how it would impact her health. I’ve found that after freshman year, I began to put off exercising every day, making excuses like being “too busy” or “too tired.” My physical and mental health has suffered a bit because of this, especially because I love being active and running, but lack self-discipline to do it on my own. I want to run a mile every day to work on my self-discipline and help my physical/mental health. Extra points if I run outside because I consider that even healthier!
